Abstract
The efficiency of an identification team depends on, among other things, how promptly the team can reach the site of the accident or catastrophe. “The site of the accident” is meant literally as the spot where people have found death — the ruins of the houses destroyed by earthquake or the site of an airplane crash or a big fire. Speed means that the team can use identification material that would otherwise be lost: personal belongings near the corpses, detailed information about the spot (street, street number) where the body was found.
