The Intramolecular Alder Ene Reaction

Chapter
Part of the Reactivity and Structure Concepts in Organic Chemistry book series (REACTIVITY, volume 18)

Abstract

In comparison to the intramolecular Diels-Alder reaction, the intramolecular Alder ene reaction has been little studied (1, 2). All examples in the literature through mid-1981 are included in the Tables at the end of this chapter.
