Abstract
We report measurements on the electrical absorption and dispersion of proteins, polysaccharides and their constituent aminoacids and saccharides, both at very low frequencies (υ = 10−3 − 106 Hz) and in the submillimetre and far infra-red \( (\tilde{v} = 10 - 550c{m^{{ - 1}}}(300\user2{GH}z - 1605\user2{TH}z)). \)
