Zusammenfassung
Bei der antihypertensiven Behandlung von Kindern und Jugendlichen stellen sich besondere Probleme. Hinsichtlich Indikation, Dosierung, Pharmakokinetik, Langzeiteffekt und Nebenwirkungen der Antihypertensiva liegen im Wachstumsalter im Vergleich zum Erwachsenenalter nur sehr spärliche Informationen vor. Vor jeder Entscheidung zur antihypertensiven Therapie müssen verschiedene Gesichtspunkte des kindlichen Blutdruckverhaltens berücksichtigt werden.
