Zusammenfassung

Bereits vor dreißig Jahren entwickelten Prebisch, Myint, Nurkse, Myrdal und Singer ihre These, wonach die Armut der Entwicklungsländer im wesentlichen auf die ungünstigen und sich säkulär verschlechternden Austauschbedingungen zwischen ihren Primärexporten und ihren Industriegüterimporten zurückzuführen sei (vgl. zu den inzwischen klassischen Arbeiten dieser Gruppe: Singer, 1950; Myint, 1954; Prebisch, 1959; Nurkse, 1953; Myrdal, 1956).
