Abstract
With an ECG controlled injector which was developed at the Biomedical Institute of Stuttgart University we examined 80 patients, who received routine angiography of the kidneys with X-ray film documentation and cinematography. During the RR interval we injected very small amounts of Telebrix 300 divided into nine portions. Contrast media of higher concentration did not show significant improvement. The first injection always started with the R wave, while the other eight portions were delayed not only for the time of an RR interval but also each consecutive injection was delayed for 0.1 s (Fig. 1).
