Abstract

The architecture of an information storage and interchange system and the overall system assumptions are presented.

An “Information Bank” is defined; its constraints, its distributed hierarchical structure and its internal design are then presented.

Within this environment, the protocol to maintain connectivity and integrity of the Information Bank is explained.
