Abstract
The use of epidurally administered morphine for the treatment of pain has gained widespread use during recent years. Main indications have been postoperative pain and terminal cancer pain. However, we are lacking controlled trials giving a good basis for our considerations on this kind of therapy in patients with rib fractures.
