Abstract
Methylmercury (MeHg) is a potent neurotoxin which is easily absorbed from food. In the adult human gastro-intestinal absorption of methyl-mercury is practically complete. The distribution between red cell to plasma is approximately 10. The biological half time is approximately 70 days [1].
