Abstract

Despite its great sensitivity in the measurement of attenuation in density, scanography X does not spontaneously and constantly permit adequate imaging at the level of the liver, particularly in small-caliber circumscribed lesions. Based on the hepatic structure (the complex biliary vascular arborization and the various cellular systems), it is possible to enhance the coefficient of attenuation in a relatively selective manner.
