Pleura and Thoracic Wall

Computer tomography conclusively demonstrates the topographical anatomy of both the thoracic wall and the adjacent pleura, thus closing the diagnostic gap between the superficial areas, accessible to clinical investigation, and the lungs, which are displayed to good advantage on conventional radiographs.
