Zusammenfassung

1930 entdeckten Kurzrok und Lieb (18), daß menschliche Samenflüssigkeit die Motilität menschlicher Uterusmuskelstreifen in vitro beeinflußt. Basierend auf diesen deskriptiven Erkenntnissen sowie eigenen gleichartigen Untersuchungsergebnissen gab v. Euler 1935 einer auf bestimmte Weise aus der Samenflüssigkeit extrahierbaren Substanzgruppe den Namen Prostaglandine (PG) (12).
