Zusammenfassung
Die klinische Bedeutung sekundärer Hyperlipoproteinämien beruht auf der diagnostischen und prognostischen Wertigkeit von Abweichungen der Plasmalipidkonzentrationen bei einer Reihe heterogener Erkrankungen. Dazu gehören die Hypercholesterinämie bei Hypothyreose, Hypertriglyzeridämie bei abdominellen Krisen und Pankreatitis und die Lipidstoffwechselstörungen bei Lebererkrankungen. Daneben wird der Verlauf anderer Erkrankungen, wie Diabetes mellitus und chronischer Niereninsuffizienz, die mit lange persistierenden Fettstoffwechselstörungen einhergehen können, häufig durch kardiovaskuläre Komplikationen bestimmt.
