Axillofemoral Bypass: An 8 Year Follow-up

Abstract

In high risk patients with arterial circulatory impairment of the lower extremity in stages III or IV, Blaisdell and Hall (1) described in 1963 the subcutaneous axillofemoral bypass as therapy of choice which was often described and substantiated in the following Years (2–4, 6–8, 10, 11, 14, 17–19, 20).
