Investigations into the Morphology of the Hemolytic-uremic Syndrome

Abstract

The hemolytic-uremic syndrome (HUS), a clinical syndrome first described by Gasser et al. (1955) appears in children and adults (Table 1.). In our patients it was observed more often in females than in males, especially in those of reproductive age.
