Effect of Nitrates on Myocardial Blood Flow During Angina: Comparison of Results Obtained by Inert Gas Clearance and 201 Thallium Imaging

  • Conference paper
Nitrates III

Abstract

The contribution of changes in myocardial blood flow to the antianginal effect of nitrates has continued to be controversial in spite of a large number of investigations using both experimental animals and humans. Contradictory data resulted mainly from different experimental designs and different techniques employed to assess myocardial blood flow.
