Abstract
Oral aromatic retinoids seem to act principally on the epidermis. They are effective in the treatment of squamous dermatoses such as psoriasis. These are the two main reasons why we have used Ro 10-9359 in the treatment of parapsoriasis en plaques, a squamous dermatosis whose pathogenesis is unknown, and mycosis fungoides, a malignant epidermotropic cutaneous lymphoma of T cell origin in the pathogenesis of which the epidermis seems to play an important role.
