Zusammenfassung

Organtransplantate sind Artefakte des 20. Jahrhunderts (Thomas 1959). Vor 70 Jahren wurden die ersten technisch gelungenen Nierentransplantationen bei Versuchstieren (Ullmann 1902; Carrel 1908; Zairer 1914) und beim Menschen (Unger 1910) durchgeführt. Diese Transplantate wurden auch histopathologisch untersucht.
