Abstract
The Rhaetic (Upper Triassic) sediments of south west Britain contain an unusual stromatolite development. This occurs at the top of the Cotham Beds (Fig. 1), and is locally called the Cotham Marble. It occurs as two distinct types named the Landscape Marble and Crazy Cotham Marble.
