Zusammenfassung

Dextran ist ein Plasmaersatzstoff, der antithrombotische Eigenschaften besitzt. Dextranprä- parate, welche von klinischem Interesse sind, haben entweder ein mittleres Molekulargewicht (\(\left( {{{{\bar{M}}}_{w}} = Gewichtsmittel} \right)\) = Gewichtsmittel) von 60 000–75 000, sog. klinisches Dextran, oder das \({{\bar{M}}_{w}}\) beträgt ca. 40 000, man spricht dann von sog. niedermolekularem Dextran. Dextran 40 steht für ein Präparat, in welchem das Dextran ein \({{\bar{M}}_{w}}\) von ca. 40 000 aufweist.
