Zusammenfassung

Häufig anzutreffende Begleiterscheinung eines Tumorleidens ist eine Verschlechterung des Ernährungszustandes durch Appetitlosigkeit, schnelles Sättigungsgefühl und Gewichtsverlust [7, 8, 9, 10]. Zu einer weiteren Verschlechterung des Ernährungszustandes kommt es durch Diagnostik, Operation, Strahlen- und Chemotherapie [2, 4, 3]. Die klinische Erfahrung hat gezeigt, daß die Verträglichkeit dieser Therapieformen, besonders aber der Chemotherapie, durch eine zusätzliche parenterale Ernährung verbessert werden kann [1].
