Zusammenfassung

Der Herr Vorsitzende hat uns heute Nachmittag durch sein geistvolles und tiefgehendes Einleitungsreferat in die Problematik der psychophysischen Gesamtsituation der Patienten auf Inten- sivbehandlungseinheiten eingeführt, und die entsprechenden Behandlungsziele abgesteckt. Er hat uns ferner eindringlich aufgefordert, ganz besonders bei der medikamentösen Beeinflussung zentralnervöser Funktionen, spezifischärztliches Denken und Handeln anzuwenden, um auch auf diese Weise einer vielerorts aufkommenden Kritik am Konzept der Intensivmedizin zu begegnen.
