Zusammenfassung

Die Mykoplasma-Pneumonie ist eine Manifestation der Infektion durch Mycoplasma pneumoniae. Sie wird zum klinischen Bild der sog. primär atypischen Pneumonien gezählt. Eine Übersicht, die zum besseren Verständnis dieser Pneumonie beiträgt, wäre ohne Einbeziehung des ganzen Spektrums der Mycoplasma-pneumoniae-Infektion wenig sinnvoll, da nicht selten extrapulmonale Manifestationen überhaupt erst an diese Krankheit, bzw. an die Pneumonie, denken lassen.
