Zusammenfassung
Zwei junge Wissenschaftsgebiete wie Operations Research auf der einen und Informatik — oder englisch: Computer Science — auf der anderen Seite in ihren Schwerpunkten und gegenseitigen Bezügen darzustellen, ist zwar recht reizvoll, aber offenbar auch kein reines Vergnügen angesichts der Tatsache, daß beide wissenschaftlichen Disziplinen intensiv um ihr Selbstverständnis und um Anerkennung ringen und daher Vertreter beider Disziplinen leicht geneigt sind, möglichst vieles an Untersuchungsobjekten und an Untersuchungsmethoden jeweils als ihr ureigenstes Territorium zu proklamieren.
