Zusammenfassung
Je nach Aufgabenbereich werden in der Theorie der Mehrgüterproduktion (auch verbundene Produktion — joint production — genannt) recht unterschiedliche Modelle zur Beschreibung der technischen Gegebenheiten benutzt. Eine einheitliche und vielseitig verwendbare Darstellung existierte bis Anfang der siebziger Jahre nicht. Im folgenden werden einige der zentralen Anwendungsbereiche und die dort verwendeten Modelle aufgeführt und anschließend dargelegt, wie diese mit Hilfe der Produktionskorrespondenzen einheitlich dargestellt werden können. Auf Einzelheiten und insbesondere auch vollständige bibliographische Hinweise wird verzichtet, da dies bei dem vorgesehenen Umfang der Darstellung nicht durchführbar ist.
