Abstract

In recent years many different pacing techniques have been employed in the management of ventricular tachycardia. The more commonly used techniques are listed below.
  1. 1)

    Ventricular pacing for the suppression of premature beats;

  2. 2)

    Ventricular overdrive pacing (atrial overdrive pacing);

  3. 3)

    Ventricular underdrive pacing;

  4. 4)

    Programmed ventricular pacing.
