Abstract
Of the methods available for determining the duration of the cell cycle and its phases (survey: e.g., Nachtwey and Cameron 1968; Cameron 1971; Aherne et al. 1977), our discussion will center on those which are suitable for the study of proliferative processes in the brain (cf. Sidman 1970).
