Abstract
Forty male albino rats (Type Wistar TNO W70 SPF) (Winkelmann, Borchen) weighing 245.7 g on the average on the pre-experimental day were housed at 27 ± 1° C (room temperature) and subjected to 12-h light-dark cycles in single cages. These experiments were performed in the animal quarters of the Department of Anatomy of the WWU Münster in March, 1978.
