Rezidivierende neurologische Ausfallerscheinungen (transitorische ischämische Attacken)

Zusammenfassung

Obwohl das Syndrom der rezidivierenden kurzen Episoden fokaler neurologischer Ausfälle den Ärzten seit Jahren bekannt ist, so stehen deren Ätiologie, Spontanverlauf und Therapie immer noch zur Diskussion. Die Anfälle werden allgemein als transitorische ischämische Attacken bezeichnet und in der Regel — je nach betroffenem Kreislaufsystem (Karotis- oder vertebro-basilärem System, vgl. Kap. 10 u. 11) — in zwei Kategorien eingeteilt.
