Zusammenfassung

Wie im folgenden noch deutlich werden wird, spielen Fragen der Atemregulation bei der Adaptation und bei der Entwöhnung von Patienten im Rahmen einer Respiratortherapie eine große Rolle. Daher sollen einige Anmerkungen zur Physiologie der Atemregulation vorangestellt werden.
