Isolation of Cell Membranes From Ascites Tumors

Abstract

Various methods are described in the literature for the isolation of membranes of nucleated cells. The procedure described in this exercise is based on the method of Boone et al. (1973) with minor modifications as applied to the isolation of TA3-Ha murine ascites tumor membrane in the author’s laboratory (Nowotny et al., 1976).
