Zusammenfassung

Periduralanästhesie bedeutet die Injektion von Lokalanästhetika oder neurolytischen Substanzen in den Extraduralraum. Hierdurch wird die Leitung sowohl somatischer als auch autonomer Nervenfasern blockiert. Der gebräuchliche Ausdruck für diese Anästhesieform ist Periduralanästhesie. In der Literatur finden sie jedoch auch Bezeichnungen wie Extradural- oder Epiduralanästhesie.
