Zusammenfassung
Seit ihrer ersten Beschreibung 1967 hat die selektive proximale Vagotomie eine zunehmende Verbreitung gefunden. Sie wird besonders in den angelsächsischen Ländern (England und Skandinavien), in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und in Italien ausgeführt. In den Vereinigten Staaten findet das Verfahren nur eine geringe Resonanz. In Frankreich ruft sie ein gewisses Interesse hervor.
