Abstract
A photoexcited molecule can interact with a ground state molecule to yield a product. However, this interaction may have other consequences aside from reaction. These other alternatives have already been implicit in the P.E. surfaces we have constructed. In the space below, a more explicit discussion is given of the important photochemical processes which result into some form of energy transfer not accompanied by reaction.
