Zusammenfassung

Die relative Seltenheit von Kleinhirnbrückenwinkel-Tumoren, einschließlich Acusticusneurinomen, von denen in den meisten Untersuchungszentren nicht mehr als 10/Jahr vorkommen, hat verhindert, daß einzelne Untersucher größere Erfahrung in der szintigraphischen Diagnostik gewinnen konnten. Die Szintigraphie ist eine Untersuchungsmethode, die erst im letzten Jahrzehnt klinische Geltung erreichte. Überdies hat die klinische Anwendung gezeigt, daß die topographischen und biologischen Merkmale einiger dieser Tumoren ungünstig für die szintigraphische Methode sind. So ist der Wert der Szintigraphie bei Kleinhirnbrückenwinkel-Erkrankungen wahrscheinlich vernachlässigt worden.
