Intensive Raster-Elektronenmikroskop(REM)-Forschungen an pflanzlichen Objekten werden seit etwa 5 Jahren durchgeführt. Aus der Fülle der, vor allem in den beiden letzten Jahren gehäuft erschienenen Publikationen, werden besonders wichtige, für eine bestimmte Fragestellung beispielhaft durchgeführte oder in ihren Ergebnissen besonders spektakuläre Untersuchungen, ausgewählt.
