Zusammenfassung

Tageslängenmessungen dienen vielen Organismen zur Orientierung über den Verlauf der Jahreszeiten. Die Kontrolle physiologischer Reaktionen durch solche Tageslängenmessungen wird als photoperiodische Steuerung bezeichnet.
