Zusammenfassung

Eine physiologische Ernährung mit Fett bedeutet, daß das Essen eine ausreichende Menge Lipide der geeigneten Qualität enthalten sollte. Es ist immer noch schwierig, den Ausdruck “geeignete Qualität” genau zu definieren. Jedoch sind mehrere Aussagen über diätetische Lipide und ihre physiologischen Funktionen bekannt. Diese können in drei Hauptgruppen eingeteilt werden, die auch die Indikationen für den Gebrauch von Fettemulsionen in der parenteralen Ernährung darstellen.
