Computerized Tomography of the Neck and Cranio-cervical Juncture with the Acta Scanner

  • Chapter
Cranial Computerized Tomography

Abstract

While CCT has found universal acceptance and praise, the impact of body scanning on the field of radiology is not yet totally understood. In this report we intend to represent our experience with CT of the neck and the cranio-cervical juncture. The scans were obtained with the ACTA Scanner (SCHELLINGER et al., 1975; TWIGG et al., 1975), which was developed at George town University Medical Center.
