Abstract
In cranial CT the investigator obtains mappings of the absorption by penetrated material of a defined brain layer. These mappings are combined from computed punctual values related to different structural density of the tissues. They have to be interpreted with regard to type and extent of eventual pathologic changes. In a relatively new method such as CT interpretation must be verified by other methods.
