Abstract
Seismic noise in the frequency range 0.3 to 8.3 Hz was recorded on magnetic tape by a mobile seismic station over a period of four years. The recordings generally extend over a period of at least 24 h. At some stations the recordings were repeated after half a year or more. The stations were selected in such a way to allow adequate distance from visible artifical noise sources (towns, industry planes, traffic) or evident natural noise sources (trees and bushes moved by wind, running water etc.).
