Zusammenfassung

Das Coma diabeticum (C.d.) ist eine schwere, mit Störungen des Sensoriums verbundene Komplikation des diabetischen Stoffwechsels, die durch einen Mangel an effektivem Insulin bedingt ist und unbeeinflußt nahezu immer tödlich ausgeht. In der Regel ist eine Ketoazidose vorhanden.
