Abstract
Under the HMI Network project a large number (22) of “on site” process control computers are linked up to a central SIEMENS 4004/151 timesharing computer. The network uses two SIEMENS 330 minicomputers as message switching nodes. A star shaped configuration is implemented initially but development of a more complex interconnected structure is foreseen in the future.
