Zusammenfassung

Im Mittelpunkt der klinischen Manometrie steht die sogenannte Dreipunktmanometrie. Sie erlaubt eine klinisch relevante Funktionsanalyse im Bereich des Oesophagus und seiner Verschlußsysteme. Die Durchzugmanometrie stellt eine Ergänzung dieser Untersuchungsmethode dar. Sie dient zur Beurteilung des Tonus im unteren Oesophagussphincter (UOS) bei pharmakologischen Funktionstests und klinisch-experimentellen Untersuchungen. Die verläßlichste Diagnostik geschieht durch Anwendung beider Manometrieverfahren.
