The Immunohistology of Glomerulonephritis — Distinctive Marks and Variability

  • Conference paper

Part of the book series: Current Topics in Pathology ((CT PATHOLOGY,volume 61))

Abstract

The rediscovery of nephrotoxic antibodies (Lindemann, 1900) by Masugi (1933) was a historical event. In spite of many unanswered questions the general concept of immunopathogenesis offers today the most likely possibility for providing a causal explanation for human glomerulonephritis.
