Abstract
Unit-cell level twinning is prominent in many solids (Andersson and Hyde, 1974). The problem of detecting such twinning, if of limited extent, is difficult if not impossible using X-ray techniques. High resolution electron microscopy, on the other hand, is well suited for this problem (Iijima, 1973; Buseck and Iijima, 1974).
