Abstract

On the a.c. side of the converters we find mainly the same elements with basically the same characteristics and subject to the same demands as in all a.c. networks. We shall therefore only have to point out a few additional facts about the different elements, insofar as they arise in connection with the operation of d.c. transmission links.
