Adriamycin in der Behandlung des Ewing-Sarkoms

Zusammenfassung

Das Antibiotikum Adriamycin gehört heute zu den wichtigen neueren Cytostatica., die in den letzten Jahren Eingang in die Tumortherapie gefunden haben. Wir setzten das Medikament zunächst als Monotherapie in vereinzelten Fällen bei soliden Tumoren ein, bei denen es unter herkömmlicher Kombinationschemotherapie zu einer Therapieresistenz gekommen war. Heute verwenden wir Adriamycin in einer Reihe von Kombinationsschemata., so unter anderem bei Hodentumoren, bei Non-Hodgkin-Lymphomen, beim Bronchialcarcinom, bei Patienten mit Morbus Hodgkin, bei denen ein primäres Versagen der MOPP-Therapie oder ein Rezidiv unter MOPP-Therapie zu verzeichnen war, ferner bei Weichteilsarkomen und schliesslich beim Ewing-Sarkom (Tab. 1). In diesen prospektiven Therapieversuchen überblicken wir heute über 100 Patienten. Die endgültigen Ergebnisse dieser Studien liegen noch nicht vor. Wir möchten heute über drei Fälle von Ewing-Sarkom berichten, die uns wegen der desolaten Ausgangslage und des günstigen Ansprechens der Chemotherapie mit Adriamycin bemerkenswert erscheinen.
