Abstract

The fetus uses for the protein synthesis the amino-acids of the labelled albumin injected into the amniotic fluid (2); he is also able to swallow and to exploit for his nutrition the amino-acids directly injected into the amniotic cavity (1, 4, 5). This is the assumption for the use of the intra-amniotic injection of amino-acids in order to nourish the fetus in case of placental insufficiency (1, 4, 5.
