Abstract
With the objective of assessing changes in the uterine circulation induced by a beta-mimetic agent (ritodrine) and attempting to recognise the possible role of this substance in the treatment of chronic fetal distress, we have conducted a double-blind cross-over study in a series of normal and pathological (chronic fetal distress) pregnancies.
